The
Holocaust Memorial day service was very well attended in Luton Town
hall this year. The service, on 27th January was based around the
theme of 'Stand up to Hatred'. More details can be found at www.hmd.org.uk
The
service included the lighting of eleven candles by a number of local
dignitaries included David Young and Hilary Fox. Pupils from
Stopsley High School spoke about their experiences when they visited
Auschwitz and Nadine Hart also spoke about her experiences playing the
role of Anne Frank in a local school production.
