| On Sunday 8th March, about thirty bright-eyed, optimistic Shul members and friends descended upon a now snow-free Clophill Village Hall for the yearly Shul quiz. We split into four teams - Bedfordshire Bandits, Mish-Mash, 50-Plus and Short Circuit. Once again, the Corfans - Hilary, David and Sophie - did everything from writing the questions to checking scores and, with the help of Hilary Fox and David Young, put on a feast for hungry quizzers. The questions were fun - no specialist questions this time; the food was good; and the atmosphere friendly and light-hearted. A big thank you to everyone who had a hand in staging it. All in all it was a very good night out. If you're starting to feel sorry you missed it - there's always next year. |
